Snowstorm's Diary

Today my head was spinning as fast as a spinning top!

It was our first concert (we wanted to make an impression!) and we had only practiced twice. However we couldn’t postpone the concert; many fans had been waiting for ages! So we got up (extremely tired) and drove to the concert.

As we got there, many fans were screaming and cheering at us. That made us even more worried and we ran (as fast as our legs could carry us) out of the limo into the back door.

By the time we changed into our costumes, it was time to perform! My heart was beating as hard as Flora’s drums. We started out great, singing and playing our instruments. The rest of the performance was a big blur and all I now remember is bowing and leaving.

Although I do remember the disco, it ended so late (4:00am)!

I hope our next concert will be more prepared!

I’ve got to go; I am so tired from the concert.

Goodnight…

Ice C's Diary

Excitement woke me up this morning. I was so scared and excited for tonight. I performed to myself for an hour. Later I called my band and they came right over to practice. After wards I felt exhausted. Our songs were going to be performed tonight. Today was definitely the day

Arriving at the concert was amazing. Our boss was sick so I was the leader for tonight. I chose that we should take a helicopter and skydive off! Every-one would be amazed!

Our landing was perfect. The crowd went wild! It was thrilling! The audience had dressed up so weird! This one guy had dressed up like a woman; tutu, tights and all! Something flew past my drummers face and hit me smack in the head! I came in at the right time. I started. All my nervousness went away. Lights. Smoke. Audience chanting. It was all too much! My eyes closed behind my shades. My heart was pounding. I couldn’t see our hear anything. Still I kept going.

I woke up later that night and my band members were grinning widely at me. I could not speak. One of my band members seemed to realise that. “Don’t say anything.” She stated, “just listen.” It turns out those light and smoke made me blackout near the end of the song. I kept singing though I was blacked out. At the end I fell on my knees and the crowd went wild!

Flame's Diary

Today was THE day! From the moment I woke up I was walking on air! My stomach filled with nerves and excitement as I awaited the big performance. I was to have a rehearsal later on and I just couldn’t wait to see what all the lights and the stage were like.

Arriving at the venue to find the 100,000 seats and that tickets had been sold for every single one. This made me feel even more restless and I could not wait until the time had come! The singing and dancing went well but the lights and special effects did not, they were broken badly and were going to take two long hours to fix this meant they would fixed by 8:00pm (hopefully). This disappointed me immensely as that was the time that the concert started. I went back to my (five star) hotel to have a rest.

Arriving at the concert in my fancy helicopter as the crowd cheered me on and waved banners saying things like ‘we love u’ and ‘u rock’. Luckily the lights and special effects were working so the spotlight was all on me and my long shimmering red dress which fell over my feet and my bright yellow soled high heels. The atmosphere was amazing in front of me I saw a sea of faces looking directly in to my eyes. My heart pounded! This was it the moment I had been waiting for all my life. As I started to sing an earsplitting sound echoed throughout the venue. I sang for at least two hours, the whole time everyone cheered.

The after party also had a great atmosphere. Me and the rest of my band were congratulated all night long. By the time everyone went home it was no earlier than four o’clock and I was shattered. By the time I got home I was almost asleep and when I put my head on the pillow, I was asleep!

Lava's Diary

Today was the day! From the moment I woke up I was walking on air!

At 2 o’clock we left our villa to go to Australia from California in our privet jet. It took us a whole day to get there, we were shattered and our concert was in 2 hours! Practicing is not much fun but you really need it.

Arriving at the concert was a blur; I can’t remember what happened. When the concert was about to start our manager Lola Cripps jumped on stage and shouted “Let’s here it for… FIRE and ICE performing there hit song Fire and Ice (AKA Waka Waka) then one of the crew ran on stage and whispered “Lola you were way off your queue! The girls are still getting changed. Just stall the audience!” Meanwhile we were back stage getting changed in to our costumes. Which were… red tops with green and yellow tassels, a matching blue and black skirts with black wedges (we were meant to look like the South African flag). We walked on in the middle of Lola’s explanation of what inspired us.

Wow! There are 1500 people staring at me and my fellow band companions. Surprisingly nothing wrong happened to me when I was playing my electric guitar but my older sister (Lizzie) jumped on stage and started playing the guitar (it was my spare I wasn’t very happy with her).

The after party was a blast. The best thing about it as none of the non-invited fans tried to sneak in! This was great.

I am starting to fall asleep know so goodnight

Laura over and out…

Ps. We are backing the jet now.

Ice C's Biography

Izzy Cole (Ice C) was welcomed into the world on the 7th of April 2000 in California. She had a little sister called Lizzy Her parents, Stewart (a banker) and Abby (ex-keyboard sensation with Fire and Ice), were sure that Izzy would fulfill her mother’s dream; she did, turning into a mega-pop sensation at the age of 15.

Her mother says: ‘She always loved playing the miniature keyboard when she was a little girl and that’s when I knew she would be like me.’

Izzy’s first nursery was called ‘Moms and Tots’ however she didn’t stay there long because of an incident involving a drum kit!

Izzy had spotted the drum kit and she was eager to try a new instrument. When no one was looking she toddled out of her seat over to the drum kit. There were no sticks so she improvised and she used her head (literally). Her little head got stuck in the drum. Not surprisingly, the music teacher was furious and she was asked not to return again. Just for using her head!

For primary school she went to West High Primary then moved to Hollywood Performing Arts School. Hollywood Arts (which followed through to university and hoping to make it big in the charts.) was an amazing experience for a talented musician like Izzy. After a few months in the school, Izzy was very popular with friends but unpopular with teachers except for music teachers. Music was so much fun for a teenager like Izzy. One day Izzy was so excited to play the keyboard that she played over 10 songs, the class (and the teacher) went wild.

Izzy - Ice C, Flora - Flame, Seleste - Snowball, Sydney - Snowstorm and Laura – Lava, all became Fire and Ice at the age of 15. They tried every talent show without success, but they always tried their hardest

Fire and Ice was originally Izzy’s and the other band member’s mothers. They were destined to be friends. Their first hit song was Fire and Ice which hit the charts and their first album was also called Fire and Ice. They earned the award for being the band to stay together longest. Izzy won the award for youngest keyboard player of 2016 and still holds the record. She has written over 50 songs and her band plays half of them. Izzy has loved keyboard her whole life. Her band was discovered when they played their mother's hit song. Their first concert was Australia when she was 17. It was a blast. They made a lot of money but they gave it to charity.

Who knows what further fame, fortune and success await Isabella Cole…

Lava's Biography

Laura Forey (A.K.A Lava) was born on the 13th April 2000 in Fair Heaven, Australia but moved to California at the age of 1. She had a mum called Maddie, a dad called Richard (he owned his own book store in their garage) and an older sister called Lizzie.

Laura grew up liking the sun and sea, but didn’t see much of it - her domineering mum kept her busy all the time in order to stop Laura from disturbing her mum’s band practices with the other mums. There was an urge to meet the other mystery daughters; Laura eventually managed to meet them at one of her mums band practices (with the other mums) were she met her fellow band companions: Izzy Cole (the keyboardist), Flora Blake (the drummer) , Seleste Hunter (lead singer) and Sydney Adams(lead singer).

They all went to ABC nursery and never stayed apart. Although they seemed sweet and innocent, they were always getting into trouble (such as breaking instruments and writing graffiti!). They then carried on to their elementary school (West High), then HollyWood Academy of Performing Arts (which followed through to university) . She loved music and acting but was hated by the teachers at Hollywood arts.

When they were 17 years old they launched their first album called Fire and Ice with their hit song Fire and Ice and their first concert the same year. They have won the following awards: The longest lasting band award (they won it at 40 years and they are still going to this day) and they also won the World’s best known hit! Long live Fire and Ice!
